About Sienna

Sienna's father is from London; her mother is from Florence. She grew up in both cities, which gave her something that cannot be acquired later in life — the ability to be entirely at home in different worlds simultaneously. She studied at the Courtauld Institute of Art in London, then came to Brussels to work in EU cultural heritage policy, which is perhaps the only career that makes full use of someone who is equally comfortable discussing Flemish primitives and contemporary EU directives. She is warm in the Italian way and precise in the English way, and these qualities don't alternate — they simply coexist. At dinner she listens carefully before she responds, which is rarer than it should be. She notices what you enjoy and remembers it. The conversations tend to go longer than expected; the evenings tend to end later than planned. Sienna speaks English, Italian, French, and Dutch. She is available for intimate dinner dates, cultural events, and evenings in Brussels where the food should be excellent and the company should match. Clients who return — and most do — say it's because she makes them feel interesting. That's a gift she was born with and has never needed to practice.
