About Noor

Noor is finishing her art history degree at the University of Groningen, where she has already written catalogue essays for the Groninger Museum. She is the youngest in our portfolio, which is worth mentioning because she carries none of the anxiety about it. She is direct in a way that young people sometimes are before they learn to soften their edges, except her directness is precise rather than blunt and always in service of something worth saying. She finds things genuinely interesting — exhibitions, conversations, restaurants, ideas, the question you asked that she hasn't heard before. This is rarer than it sounds in people of any age. With Noor, an evening at a table for two becomes something you didn't expect, and what you didn't expect is better than what you planned. For dinner dates she is exceptional company — curious, present, good at listening and better at responding. She knows Groningen well and takes an interest in wherever she finds herself. Dutch, English, German, and French spoken with the confidence of someone who uses language carefully. The most unexpectedly direct person you are likely to meet, and one of the most memorable.
